About Me
Marcia McDonald | ISSA CPT
I am a personal trainer in Ithaca, New York. I received my certification through ISSA (International Sports Science Association). I found my passion for health and fitness over 10 years ago. Growing up I’ve always been an active individual from sports, martial arts, and dance classes. I got into weightlifting in 2007 and from the moment I did my first squat I just fell in love. I loved the way weight lifting made me feel, the people it brought to my life, and of course the way it shaped my body. At this time in my life I thought the more I worked out the more results I would see until my body became completely burned out from over exercising. It wasn’t until I educated myself on the science behind nutrition exercise that I finally started to see sustainable results.
My mission is to help people incorporate health and fitness into their life by educating them on how to build healthy and sustainable habits, so that they actually see results. The goal is to fit fitness into your life, not fit life into fitness.
